Throwing Colors
Most people might panic if rain poured, thunder rumbled and lighting shot across the sky on their wedding day but Marlene Diers just went with the flow. What followed was a dramatic nature-made soundtrack to her big day.
After being set up on a blind date, Marlene and Michael became friends. However, it was years later that romance bloomed for them. On a horse drawn sleigh ride through the mountains of Colorado, Michael proposed to Marlene and under the murals of the saints at Annunciation Church they were married.
Enveloped in soft curves of fabric, Marlene danced with her husband for the first time at Marriott River Center. Under the soft glow of the city lights, they shared a kiss.
